Inherited a 2010 Prius (90K miles). Tires look good. What should maintenance checks / tasks should be performed at 15 years and 90K miles?

Would prefer to get ahead of tasks (preventative maintenance) to avoid breakdowns / downtime.

Any resources (manuals / lists /etc) are always appreciated as well as any lessons learned (anecdotal experience). Thanks

Change the engine and transaxle oil, drain and fill both coolant systems, start a savings account and hope for the best

This guy has links in his profile for manuals and how to.

Second Nuts about Bolts YT page. It's a goldmine. And yes, put money aside for a head gasket kit. I would also throw in an Asin Water Pump and Thermostat, some silicone grease (if you have to do a head gasket job), a flex head ratchet (I got mine from harbor freight. It's been a goldmine) and I'd personally recommend an endoscope because loosing tools/screws in a prius is a pain in the nice person to fetch and retrieve.

If you have the flex ratchet and an endoscope then you're golden imo.

rjparker called out the maintenance steps I'd preform.

Save up at least $2K rainy day fund. Low mileage at 2010 usually means hybrid bat low cycles leads to replacement
