Does coolant go bad when stored in your garage?
I have an open bottle of Toyota OEM coolant Part No 00272-SLLC2 that has a yellow cap(the upc is 0-74804-00867-8). I also have a newer unopened bottle with the exact same Toyota part number but the bottle has a pink cap (the upc and the upc is 7-97496-88225- 7).
    1. Are these 2 coolants able to be mixed?
    2. Is the open yellow cap bottle too old to be used (might be opened 10 years ago just sitting in the garage 3/4 full?

    Thanks
    GV

Since the UPC# are different, the formulation may have changed over the years. Just because it states Toyota on the label doesn't mean it the right coolant for your car. Further investigation is required - perhaps call your nearest dealership parts department to check.

    Hope this helps......
