My (2011) hood support rod is rattling a LOT at the hinge (not the clip that holds it to the hood.) I am thinking there must have been some kind of rubber and/or plastic device(s) at the mount/hinge point.

All I have is a metal ring on the hood, and plain thick wire rod with a bend in it to hold it ~~in place.

Could someone please take a photo of what the hood/rod parts ought to look like?

THANKS! Not urgent, just an annoying thing...

You need that plastic insert in the picture there. Should be in the parts breakdown

Looks like the correct part is 90480-15025. Many chinese knockoffs, and a few OEM offers. ;)
