Took my trusty 2023 Prime XSE in for the 2 yr (last covered) maintenance in June (2025) for the free oil change and to have the Fuel Tank Filler Clamp Service Campaign 24TC08 performed. Was told the parts for the campaign were on backorder, "we'll call you". Over a month now and no call. Should I be chill, or get hot for this?
Considering there are no parts to order, I'd be questioning them. Unless something changed, the Prime just needed a software update for this campaign. It was the Prius HEV and Corolla that needed additional parts.
Thanks. Looks like I need to take a printed copy of this with me. There was a time, seems not that long ago, when cars were simple mechanical machines. Now they are robots with artificial daemons making decisions millions of times a second. I love my 2023 Prime, so I have to worry about getting it good mental health treatments.
