53,160 miles- not a typo. Bought shortly before retirement and driven for 23 years by little old lady from San Diego. Recent replacement of stolen catalytic converter was bungled and dealer apparently cannot find replacement parts. I can't deal with the hassle. Car runs perfectly and interior is almost pristine. Hate to junk it. Hoping someone can rescue it!
Should be plenty not folks ready. Can't wait to see what actually happens it's 4K miles for me but if i had to . I'd have to have a guarantee car would be they're wen I arrive . The internet folk today are quite silly.
IMHO; you should sell it for cash as a parts car. If you donate it, it's doubtful you'll be able to exceed your standard individual deduction vs charitable contributions limitations - unless you give away "boat loads" of money every year. You may be able to get close, if you have a lot of medical expenses to write off every year. Take a look at your last few years of returns to make an informed decision. You can only feel good about donating your beloved car. Hope this helps...
