I did bit more checking, so here is my conclusion.

When the car is off you dont hear the on and off of the pump, that part stops eventually but you hear the hissing when you press the brake even when its turned off.

Another thing i noticed is, i turned the car on and just sat there for a bit, didn't press the break, during this time the pump constantly came on and then off, and then after a bit again on and off. This activity kept happening. Should it do that?

Now do i need to change both the booster and the actuator or just one of them is bad? I am really considering not driving the car until its resolved or just sell the car and move on before i have to sink more money into it.

Fyi the break still works as it always has and there are no codes. Miles is at 110k.

Eventually, it does bleed down. I believe that is normal.
When you open the drivers door, the pump runs to pressure the system.
After I shut of the car, I do hear the pump running, why? I don't really know. Maybe it's
just keeping pressure in case you decide to get back in and drive.

No one can tell you how long your system will last before it fails.
And it is a good idea to replace both at the same time. The cost is a lot less than doing just
one at a time. It's the labor that costs the most...

It all depends on how much money you have to spend, and want to spend.
Getting a new car, no matter what it is, will cost you more, but then you shouldn't have to worry
about parts wearing out for a long time. If you buy used, you really don't know what you are getting.

If you can do the work yourself, that's a lot less money you are spending....

Can you be soo kind and test something for me? If you turn your car on and just sit there without pressing your brakes, how often is your pump running? And if you dont do anything does it eventually stop cycling? Mine keeps cycling every 15 seconds when i am just sitting there doing nothing.
