... probably high time, might want to lend thought, changing out those OEM lug nuts. Especially so, if your GEN II was equipped the OEM locking wheel nut: Slapdash quality, could not stand the test of time, just had all 4 locking lugs removed, replaced with conventional lug nuts. Pothole from hell, left front blowout, found myself stranded, at a San Fernando Valley hospital parking lot today, locking wheel nut sheering off, destroying its special socket when the sheered off fragment embedded itself, deep inside its key. Proud member since the Nixon administration, took three hours for the AAA people to dispatch a wrecker. Problem solved, new policy, no more locking lug nuts, for any of my cars. Dang, sorry that happened! My co-worker has an old BMW and broke down in Denver a few months ago and AAA took about 5 hours to get him some help. And I agree about those stupid locking lug nuts, won't find any on my vehicles.
