Overheat and coolant loss from reservoir, how to tell if water pump or head gasket

    Also, the Aisin wp on Amazon, they scratched the word “Toyota” off, so you know it’s a genuine part.

    Well, the case might be... Unless there is some other marking they use that doesn't get
    ground off.
    But that doesn't mean the insides are the same.... Is there anything inside that indicates it is
    the same as the ones they send to Toyota?
    There has to be something, right?

    Part numbers match up, brand name match up, parts match up. The company sells parts to Toyota and consumers, they keep the Toyota name on the part if they’re selling it to Toyota and if they’re selling it to consumers, they will grind the Toyota logo off of the parts. I’ve bought aisin parts before and that’s how it’s been.

    you can test the parts if the internal is working like oem on techstream if you want to test it out.
