Sometimes I'll get too close to a lane line and the steering wheel jerks to the side the line is on, as if it thinks the line isn't a boundary I'm about to hit, but one I've already crossed? It's confusing what it's actually doing, but on the display I see a green lane line. What feature is responsible so I can turn it off?

Is this with the active lane centering with cruise control, or the passive lane tracing that is on most of the time?

Yep, LTA, Lane Tracing Assist. Whenever you drive over 30 mph it will start working, IF you have it turned on. (You can change the settings in the menu, even turn it off.)
My main issue is it seems to want to steer the car more to the left side than I'm comfortable with, especially when there's incoming traffic....else it's fine.
Get that owner's manual out and read all about it!

    Terms:

LDA - Lane Departure Alert - only activates when close to or crossing a line - fairly sharp correction
LKA - Lane Keeping Assist - only activated with Dynamic Cruise Control is active - gently keeps the car in the middle of the lane

I agree that LKA drives a little more to the left than I'd like. When I'm on a two-lane with oncoming traffic, I'll just keep my hand on the wheel and gently nudge it to the right when a car is passing. Takes very little effort to override it that much. BTW, it will adjust over on its own if you are overtaking a car or it's overtaking you(you're both going the same direction). It just can't detect an oncoming car quick enough to safely move you over on a two-lane.

LDA is a little more aggressive, but it's not nearly as bad as a couple posters on here have claimed. Hands firmly on the wheel, and you can easily keep control even when it's fighting you. Honestly, it says more about them as drivers then it does about the car.

If a car surprises you with its behavior(especially after owning it for over a month), then that's on you for not properly learning about your vehicle. I know that if I cross a line without signaling first, the car is going to fight me. So in an emergency situation when I have to make a quick lane change or hug the line, I know I need to firmly grab the wheel and force the car to do what I want. Just like if I was driving in rough conditions like bad gravel or snow. It's on me to understand how the car drives in all conditions. It's no different than knowing that your vehicle tends to pull left or right under hard braking(more common in the days before modern anti-lock brakes) or any other quirk that makes one vehicle different from the next. Got no sympathy from me on this topic.

With LTA active, you can depress the turn signal slightly and LTA will perform the lane change for you.

I believe the top right outer steering wheel button toggles that function ON-OFF.

Only on Prius Prime/PHV. Doesn't work on regular Prius HEVs. They don't have the front side radar sensors that the Lane Change Assist system needs.

And don't even try adding them yourself right now. Ask me how I know.:cry::mad:
(2.5 months and two dealerships later and I'm still stuck)

No. That button is for Lane Tracing Assist. What the OP is describing is Lane Keeping Alert. That can only be disabled in the settings menu. And it might turn itself back on every time you start the car. Not sure.

OK, fair enough. I have a 2025 Camry XLE with the Premium Plus package that adds extra sensors.

If we're talking about LKA; it looks like the inner button may toggle that function. I'm making inferences based on the iconography; so double check with your OM.o_O:rolleyes::whistle:
Weather that toggle is a "sticky" is a good point. My gen4 LTA is a sticky - set once and forget it. I somehow accidentally turned it back ON - had to take an off ramp, and stop to figure it out. I hate it when someone messes with my settings. That was a very very bad thumb (fat finger move).:p:cool:

No, I'm very certain the button is for LTA, not LKA. Personal experience plus the manual.

Remember: Tracing(LTA) gently keeps you in the center of the lane while in DRCC. Keeping(LKA) not-so-gently keeps you from going into the shoulder or another lane when you're not paying attention.

Top left seems to be LKA, signified by the CC icon. Top right seems to be LTA, but you've got the manual.....

Okay, I guess I just assumed you were talking about the top right.

Top left is cruise control ON/OFF and CC set. Still not LKA.

LTA is linked to CC(which is why the button is part of the CC group). LKA has nothing to do with CC. It's a basic safety feature which is why it's deep in the settings.

edit: Jesus. Now I'm getting LKA and LTA mixed up while typing them out. Fixed now.
