Android Head Unit/Radio Recommendation - 2012 3rd gen

Is there such at thing as an inexpensive - roughly - 100$ head unit that is "good enough". In case you haven't seen, my digitizier is caput, I'm thinking about replacing with a 3rd party head unit but I don't wanna spend too much as I'm not gonna keep this car much longer - say 2 years probably.

What are the advantages of having an android based screen vs the og head unit?

Feel free to recommend also at your price range. I said a 100 but depending on the pluses one gives, I might up the investment.
