    You can purchase a hybrid battery for the 2008 Toyota Prius from Hybrid Battery Service. Prices range from $1,045 to $1,445, depending on the warranty period (from 6 months up to 4 years). They can ship it across the U.S. via UPS, or if you live near them (Indian Trail, NC 28079), you can pick it up locally and even arrange for installation.
