Anyone know the part number for Midnight Black Metallic touch up paint?

    I’ve looked and looked, but I keep seeing cross references with “attitude black” whenever I use the part # on the Toyota website, which doesn’t seem to be the same color.

    I’d like to order the base paint, touch up paint, and clear coat for my car to have on hand as needed, but I’m having no real success knowing the right “part” # or code or whatever I need.

    for reference, this (Touch up Paint - Midnight Black Metallic) is what I found on Toyota, and the listing says “midnight black metallic” but even the actual URL of the linked page says “attitude black”…

    Attitude Black and Midnight Black Metallic are the same color.

    Toyota will often rename colors in different markets to make them sound "better". But the parts system almost always uses the original Japanese name for the color(translated). In any case, your color code is 218.

    Thanks. That’s where I started, but like I said on the previous post, it appears Toyota markets it as attitude black, which I’ve now learned is the same thing as midnight black metallic. The more you know…
