Hi. I'm trying to find this part number. This is from a 2014 Prius wagon, the left headlight assembly, to the left of the headlight bulb. The contacts inside of the bulb holder are completely corroded out. No metal left. I bought the car used. It was covered in it looks like dielectric grease. I presume they had trouble. Much to my surprise I can't seem to find what they call this bulb. If anyone can give me the number I'd be very grateful. Thanks, Rob
Socket number is 9007560077. It turns out I need the socket that this part plugs into. Junkyard time. The parts corroded together.
There are two headlight bulbs in each assembly, a turn signal bulb and a running light bulb. I would simply cut out the bad socket leaving as much car side harness as reasonable and take the bad socket to an auto supply for a replacement. Use heat shrink crimp connectors or heat shrink and solder to install.
Not sure about the v, but the liftback headlight assembly has two of those little wedge-base bulbs, one that pokes up into the top and shines forward through a clear lens, and one that pokes into the side and shines through the amber side lens. Those bulb sockets might be specific to the headlight assembly, 'cause at least one of them has a pretty tall 'stalk'. I would just go to the dealer (or a recycler) before trying to make something generic work.
