We have a second baby on the way, and our 2017 Prius Prime doesn't have enough space for rear storage or to accommodate a rear-facing car seat behind the driver's side seat. We recently purchased a 2017 Prius v (Five trim), which helps with both issues.

However, I can't for the life of me find the bottom LATCH anchors. I've seen mention of a well-hidden zipper that hides the anchors, but that doesn't seem to be the case for the Five's SofTex leather seats. Has anyone had any luck with this or do you just resort to the seatbelt instead?

Unfortunately, the owner's manual isn't specific to the Five trim, so there's no mention of where the anchors are for the leather seats. I definitely don't see any zippers as is often mentioned for the fabric seats.

I dropped my car off at a mechanic to take a look at the newly purchased vehicle, and when I came back to pick it up, it was parked next to a nearly identical Prius v with two car seats in the back. I was able to peek in and confirm where the latches were – very well hidden zippers, even with the faux leather seats.
