What would be a good insert for a hydraulic jack for lifting a Gen 5 from the side?
My jack isn't what you would call low profile.

    Thanks.

Your looking for a pinch weld jack pad or adapter.

Thanks. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a specific pad for a Gen 5.

I would jack up front or rear. If your jack doesn’t have enough clearance to get under there AND start lifting, roll onto low rise ramps first. Maybe cross all these bridges when the car arrives? ;)

Too much of a hassle. Not that much room front and back in garage.

I just lifted my MINI this afternoon with my hydraulic jack to put on the OEM 17" fancy black wheels with the stupid 45 series run flats. Use a hockey puck in the jack cup. MINI has four rectangular support platforms and the front one is where the hockey puck goes. Jack up both wheels.

The MINI has to be as low as the Prius.

I just can't do it with a hockey puck. Maybe a notched hockey puck, lol.
