The best solution is new headlight assemblies every 5 years or when they start getting hazy.

The best new headlight add on is a high quality uv blocking clear ppf film, combined with some good led low beams. The ppf should be professionally installed and top of the line. This kind of uv blocking film has been tested as true uv blocking where all the liquids and sprays fail uv testing and don't last more than a year.

The liquids are good at smoothing out sanding marks created by traditional restoration techniques, which do work for a year. I would never use one of the restoration kits on a new headlight.
