I’m trying to reduce the noise on my 2014 Prius C. Does anybody know of a good alternative to a factory hood pad? I don’t want to spend $350 to buy a new one and I can’t find any used ones for sale. My car never had one, or at least there are no signs of one ever being attached to the hood. Or does anybody know where to find a used one?
You could try car-part.com. It's a database of auto recyclers aka junkyards. They aren't going to have the pads isolated in their database, but really all you need is a bent hood that they can't otherwise sell, and that database can tell you where they are. Go to the nearest, strip out the liner and there you go. Good luck!
