The climate control system seems to demand a cabin temperature that it will try to maintain.

Is it possible for the system to just bring outside air into the cabin, without reference to trying to achieve a particular temperature?

Sorta the equivalent of opening the windows. Whatever is out there, that’s what you get.

We can do that in our car by adjusting the temperature setpoint to below the ambient outside air temperature and then pushing the A/C button to make the light go out, indicating that it won't use air conditioning.* Then set the fan to whatever is needed.

I'm not sure yours will be the same, but I bet it will be at least close.

*There are a few special circumstances where the car can silently re-engage the A/C to satisfy some temporary condition, but there are other threads about that. Personally I've never noticed or cared.
