Ok screenshots from my video. In order of cylinders 2, 1, 4, 1, 2, 3 Unfortunately cylinders 2 and 3 are up at the top so I can’t see the walls. I’m guessing the patchy crust is the result of fuel system cleaner? 4 looks smoothest but not shiny. The first picture of cylinder 1 shows the light reflecting off the liquid in the corners. I’m not sure why the board didn’t save them in the order I uploaded them, hence the random order here.

Im just checking in for a quick update. 2 years and 55k miles later on my Gen4 motor swapped in, still running strong, no oil consumption with my Gen4 JDM. Lots of credit to "FixthatPrius" videos that guided me through. About 10k miles after the swap, I had overheating issues. I tried putting in the fuel pump from my Gen3 motor - mistake! Got a new Gen4 pump and back to normal. I think the JDM used motor probably sat for a while and the plastic cover on the fuel pump solenoid probably dried out and swelled to crack with the new motor. No other modifications to water flow than what Raginfit (FixthatPrius) showed in his videos.

I had not discovered the dreaded brake master cylinder failure that hits around 275k miles so I had to do that fix too. I got the OEM new parts on a sale for "Only" about $700 but better than a new car payment and brakes are kinda important to me. Otherwise no issues. I have the nicer interior with the "Four" trim so I still like my interior. I would have been satisfied with an extra 50k miles. But now I'm at 357k miles and no repairs in about 8 months and no oil consumption, so maybe I'll get 100k on this JDM or more. While I'm still getting 45MPG and no car payment I'll just keep fuel sippin'. Oh I did swap the traction battery again at 345k miles but had a lifetime warranty with Green Bean and they were super quick to replace with no questions asked. Thanks to everybody in this forum who helped!!
