Yes and Mendel is super helpful on here. Just start taking stuff apart and figuring it out and post pictures so we can follow along and offer support. As you said yourself last Thursday:

Yes, l can likely figure out the taking apart, l was just more curious to find out if any other folks have done an off the shelf or homemade screen for the gen5, and what they might have used in either case. Not really looking for moral support, more looking for previous experience solving the intake screen issue. Wisdom of the crowd and all.

We would expect that you did searches on here to familiarize yourself with rodent proofing in previous generations of Prius and once you did all your homework you'd post about your plans via photos asking questions... But at this point both Mendel and I suspect you'd be better off passing this job off to a professional or wait for another Gen5 owner to post a DIY thread.

Yes, l have seen some threads on vent intake rodent proofing on other Toyotas, but l was more curious if someone had specific knowledge of doing the same on a gen5 or had knowledge any off the shelf gen5 vent screen type products. Of course l could just wing it, but l like most forums because nearly always someone has done the same job previous to me and often happily shares their experience. Sometimes it can save a lot time (and sometimes dumb mistakes) on my part.

You keep asking the same question over and over again like you think you're going to get a different answer. You obviously aren't doing any research nor are you interested in contributing to improving knowledge of Gen5 rodent proofing. You just keep asking the same question you started with 24 comments ago. Can't you understand how maddening your behavior is? Either do it or don't do it. Either share what you learn or don't share what you learn. Just please for the love of god stop asking the same question over and over again.

Totally understand, that is why I have shared a ton of info on many different forums. But this thread was me asking about others' experience about a procedure or products that l want to learn more about. But l appreciate your helpful input. So thanks!

YouTube just answered a question for me: I was scratching my head trying to figure out, a method to cut a shallow chamfer with a table saw. Anything up to 45 degrees and not exceeding max cut depth, is relatively easy, but:

I'd love it if this conversation turned into a discussion about your champfer. It'd be more substantive than the previous discussion.
