I have a 2012 Prius (230,000 miles) that had a bunch of codes including hybrid system...pull over in a safe place and coolant pump codes. I replaced the coolant pump (old one had a fractured impeller). I replaced coolant. When it would not start, I had the starter battery checked and it was bad so I replaced it. It started and ran fine for a few hours. I drove it a couple of miles. Soon after this, the hybrid system light came back on, engine light, Red triangle. It would still drive but I did not want to chance it. I rechecked codes and it had Po455/P2618, P0A80 and Pob3d.
I don't know what to do at this point. The General Evap System codes I can probably figure out. Funny that none of those came on before and I did not touch the eval system during the previous repairs. The coolant pump B control circuit perf stuck is one ZI'm not sure about.
Replace hybrid/ev Batt pack and hybrid/ev battery voltage sense A circuit low......What do these mean? Do they really mean the battery pack needs replacement?

Any help on any of these would be great. Thanks

generally they do mean that, and not surprising at 230k. what code reader are you using?

Do you have a complete list of all the codes you had before replacing the coolant pump?

Which coolant pumps did you replace? The inverter coolant pump or the engine coolant pump?

The codes that you listed after replacing the pump, are they all current codes, or are some of them pending, historical, permanent codes?

You listed P2618 as one of the codes. Please double-check to see if it is code P261B instead.

Code P0B3D is "Hybrid Battery Voltage Sensor "A" Circuit Low." This could be a problem with the sensing wire and/or it could be corrosion on the orange connector at the battery smart unit (ECU). This problem could also be triggering the P0A80 code.
