    Hello,

I'm planning on changing my rear brakes on my Gen 2. The instructions that I found here says "Lithium soap base glycol grease" and "High temperature grease".

Can anyone confirm these the correct actual Toyota part numbers?

    High Tempreature grease- 00289-12104

Lithium soap base glycol grease - 08887-01206

    Thanks.

If you buy a whole 08887-01206 tube of the glycol stuff, you'll be passing it down to the grandkids, unless you run a shop or something.

Another way to get that grease, if you don't need so much, is to buy the rebuild rubber kit (one kit does the brakes on both sides), which comes with a little packet of that grease. As an extra added bonus, you also get rebuild rubber pieces! :)
