ya after 05-1159 its gonna be more work. the step i posted just to test the ecu or the wires bad. hoping its either the ecu or wires and not major stuff.
I have a question any 1 know what cable hes talking about? Because I have my hybrid battery replaced by Green Bean, before this problem happen and the guy said it was a cable that wasn't grounded when changing out the big battery don't know if its the hybrid or 12v but I did replaced both battery. Here's the video.
I have a question when you saying the detection condition Transmission control ECU IG OFF command malfunction, - do that mean the transmission control ecu is not getting any power or signal? I saw alot of people jumping the fuse box when they got the parking P malfunction error on their mfd but they never say what code they got.
That's just the very brief memory jogger the manual says in the DTC chart. What you need to do to actually diagnose the code is in the HV section of the repair manual.
Yeah I'm totally confused by all that no doubt . Not sure what ground slips off at engine for HV battery replacement? I've never been to the front of the car had the hood up for a battery replacement hv that is .
do you know if the jumping the fuse with a wire works? I see alot of people on youtube using that trick. people say some times the fuse to another fuse wire it get corroded or the wire get loose and throw a p malfunction on the MFD.
There is no "jumping the fuse" that I've read. There is a jump wire you can install to bypass a broken wire in the plug or connect that is at the top of the engine bay fuse box. This thread has the details: Jumped wire in fusebox. It is a fix if you get the P Lock message on the MDF. Otherwise, it won't be of much help.
C2310 I believe is the p lock error or one that involves the p lock error this is wer they talking about pin13 needing to detect 12V to remember the park lock position ..
Look for 2310 then chk.pin13 in fuse box top rt corner under bulk plastic cover pin 13 has battery voltage you should not need jumper .
UPDATE - I let my friend do the diagnose, since I don't got much time to do it. He followed the procedure to rule out if the car needed all three ECU. he say all three ECU is fine from what the procedure says. Next he thinking its the Shift Control Actuator and he got a used one laying around. When he took the old one out he show that the old one is not the original Shift Control Actuator because it got a yellow marker line on it, original Shift Control Actuator shouldn't have a yellow marker line on it only junkyard seller do that. Once he installed his used Shift Control Actuator and did a 1 hr local test drive, he say the car did not die. I will update again if it ever come back or still. I will post the procedure for the future people and post the pic of the old used Shift Control Actuator that were on the car.
we can't tell if the MFD displaying the P lock malfunction or not, since the MFD is broken we just going with what the code it give us.
ya i was shock too since the code procedure was indicating its either the wiring/connector or 3ecu is bad. I didn't expect replacing that part will fix it. I will update if the code ever come back
