    When searching on Amazon (because rock auto doesn’t have it) I get conflicting search results, do the oil drain plugs also fit with transmission drain plugs? (Same part and size)

    Also, should I get magnetic for both or only oil drain plugs?

    Thank you.

    I was all Ebay and never used Amazon and then they finally got me with next day shipping and lower pricing. But I've since bought way too many vehicle parts on Amazon that I had to return even though they claim it fit. So if I were you I'd do lots of cross-referencing on Ebay and drill down deep into their product descriptions until you have as much specific identifying information as possible and only then search for a better price elsewhere.

    Also I've bought junk oil drain plugs on Ebay that leaked before so be careful... As for transmission drain plug, that's a pretty rare part that doesn't get replaced by anyone and if I needed one of those I'd probably got to a wrecker and pull an OEM one off rather than the hassle of someone selling me one that might work but they aren't sure because they've probably never sold one before.

    Oil pan drain plug is M12x1.25.

    Tansaxle drain and fill plugs are M18x1,5.

    I replaced both with aluminum hex head magnetic drain plugs,

    Aluminum is more compatible with the aluminum threads of the transaxle case..

    I prefer softer aluminum with the steel threads of the oil pan, because a damaged drain plug is cheaper to replace if damaged.

    Hex heads mean that socket heads in OEM drain plugs will never be worn out,

    @Georgina Rudkus

    - Transmission Drain and Fill Pan Plug: 90341-18016 (get 2)
    - Transmission Drain & Refill Plug Gasket: 90430-18008 (get 2)
    - Oil drain pan gasket: 90430-12031

    I have no affiliation with this dealership, but have found them to be the cheapest source of parts so far. Their prices are consistently lower than anywhere else and they offer free shipping over $75 purchase (up to $200 shipping). Currently they are running a 25% off promotion on top of everything else. autoparts dot miltonrubentoyota dot com.
