i think he's over hyping it a bit, but there are some things that some don't like. the biggest things are those that fail out of warranty on a fairly new car and are costly to repair/replace
What prompted the slow close door? Kitchen cabinet drawers? Or perhaps the root of it all was the slow-opening cassette door?
Tesla 3 door handles, you pretty much need to hands to open the dang door: push here, pull there. I forget exactly, but it's an awkward handful.
Personalized profiles. I prefer cars that work the same no matter who is driving. I predict that some future car of mine will have to be put into "rental" or "valet" mode fulltime to keep me happy.
I found it intuitive. Reach for the door with the hand as the side of the car; left hand for left door. Press the back of the handle with the thumb to pop out the handle, and then grab it to open the door. The first part is just how I always reached for car doors. Can see how relearning the process if that is not the case for a person can be a hassle. Repairing manual handles shouldn't be anymore expensive than traditional ones. The sensors in my Outbacks stick out handles for the smart key system might make them more costly to replace than a Model 3's. Seat and mirror positions for shared cars is nice. Resetting the HVAC cause the driver recognition is easily fooled by sunglasses is annoying.
