Hi there, i changed the front pads and rotors today on my 2018 regular hybrid prius. I'm just confused on what is really the torque spec for the caliper bracket? Is it 79 or 101. I torque it to 100. If it's over torque will something break?
    Thanks

115k kms. Mine didn't wear out evenly. The outer pad still has a lot left but the inner wore down. I just never checked my brakes before

Torque info you need in the attached: 79 ft/lbs for the caliper bracket bolts.

Over torquing the bolts (by 27%) over stresses the metal. The safe thing would be to replace them.
