When I use the remote, the front passenger side door lock and rear drivers side door lock do not engage. Usually the passenger side will still unlock when i use the remote but not lock. The driver's rear will usually not unlock or lock when I use the remote. Any easy fixes or is it best to live with the problem?
I have the opposite problem: front driver, rear passenger. The front is not a problem, since it opens with the key, and I always manually lock it when parking. The rear passenger lock is intermittent, but inconvenient. Last time I looked, replacement parts were available, but the work involves removing interior door panels. Could be a DIY fix, but for now I'm living with it.
Yeah, I've owned more than 30 of these and it's rare to find one in which all the door locks work. I've never tried to swap one over from my parts car - of course, not sure if those are even good. Car was wrecked and not running when I got it. Since I can reach all 4 locks from the driver's seat, it doesn't bother me. A short person or woman might feel different. If you were here in Houston, I'd tell you to come grab these, if you want them. I already have door panels off.
