I have a UK RHD Prius T Spirit 2010 model with original display unit. I am planning to upgrade it to an Android based head unit. Saw a few ads in eBay. One said there are two types of connectors JBL vs non-JBL. How can I find out if I have JBL? Any help/experience on the head unit will be really appreciated. Thanks
My 2010 (US) has the JBL logo on the head unit (as in Mendel's picture) and on both front door speaker grilles. If those are the two choices, the evidence in your case seems to lean toward non-JBL. But I'd suggest looking in the wiring diagram, which shows the various options and the connectors they use: Toyota Service Information and Where To Find It | PriusChat I think the site shown for EU is the one that works for you in the UK? Maybe? I don't know if brexit affected that. The EU site has quite cheap subscriptions if you just want a look for an hour or so.
