Can you please provide a good link for this conversion? I also have a 2007 that originally uses a HiD. The car is called 2007 Prius (Not Touring) Pacific Northwest package 6 basically fully loaded with leather seats, JBL system, Navigation, Alarm and HiD. My car has been getting this issue of headlights on and off for a year now and I cant use it at night. I couldn't replace the original because it requires a ballast and the new bulb that will cost over $500 bucks from the dealer. Is this LED a direct replacement bulb? Anything will help and thanks,
    Edited:
This is my actual car headlight. It has fog lights too below.

Just checked this. The lights are chopdark on amazon. They hook directly to the two 12v wires and bipass ballast.

Yes it fits in the same slot and mounts fine. Inside the assembly wire the two wires connected to/thur the dust cap and disconnect the ballast completely. I removed the ballast completely and put the seal and metal ballast cover on to seal the hole.

I'll just go with the LED and get rid of my HiD is it will work. So is this the one?

Hello everyone. This is Lloyd-ss, the OP of this thread. Pretty amazing that I did my original hid to led conversion 8 years ago on a 2007 Prius. It had 80k miles then & is now at 140k. I went thru a few different LEDs that worked, but none worked well. I finally converted to a more or less factory halogen set up. The halogens have worked perfectly & the new housings are clear, shiny & new. I am happy.
But you guys have persevered & succeeded. Kudos to you. LED technology has advanced so much in 8 years & it is fantastic that something is now on the market that doesn't just work, it now works well.
    Excellent job everyone!
    Lloyd

Yes. I removed the headlight assembly and wired these inside the assembly only 2 wires. Was easier than it seems. Drop the front bumper don't need to fully remove but just enough to get to 3 10mm bolts to remove headlight, then remove the dustcap and wire the 2 wires connected to the bulb directly. I used some of those plastic snap on connectors. Has worked find so far.

Okay so just to understand on this follow-up on this conversion from your original HiD. The only one you replaced is this LED below and the old HiD housing remains disconnecting the ballast and wiring it the existing 12 volts switched in the steering control .. Is that correct?
    Thanks,
