Hello dear Prius drivers, I will visit a private seller tomorrow to look at this Prius 4. I'm currently in contact with a Toyota dealership that might be willing to check the car to see the maintenance history in the US. The private seller seems trustworthy and has good reviews. Is there anything to keep in mind? The last service has not been done at Toyota and therefore there is no Toyota Relax warranty. I'm thankful for every advice! The mileage on that car seems abnormally low for a 10 year old car. I would run a Carfax on the VIN or equivalent. Just to make sure it doesn't have a branded title - (been a total loss). Really common for cars wrecked here and sent oversea to be 'glued' back together - and will hopefully withstand another crash, without killing it's occupants. The 2016-2018 Prius had a propensity to leak coolant into the exhaust gas heat exchanger. This can cause the engine to overheat and potentially damage it. It normally gets misdiagnosed as a blown head gasket, because the gen3 Prius actually blew head gaskets. The 2016 is the first year of the gen4 Prius. Good Luck.....
