ID connector hybrid battery

    I don’t know where it connects to all I know is it goes straight down and is a blue with black stripe Please help

    That's the connector that confirms that your orange safety plug is locked into the correct position...

    There is a socket located on the bottom front of the receptacle for the interlock safety switch. The wire that disappears "straight down" plugs into that socket. When the safety plug is inserted into its socket, the handle is rotated until vertical, then pushed straight downward. This last downward motion inserts a shorting wire across that interlock plug to let the ecu know the interlock switch is fully installed. If that plug is not inserted, the ecu will think the safety switch is not installed and won't allow the car to function.
