    Great ....... another car not offered in usa.
    (sigh) we were scheduled to do a cruise around UK Islands "but-she-who-must-be-obeyed" 's health degraded, so no chance of that.

    Come to think of it, I didn’t think about the Arteon Estate when I was there. I ended up with a 2025 Polestar 2 so that’s the 300hp RWD version. It was mucho fun.

    Today I saw a Porsche Taycan Turbo S Sport Turismo with Swiss license plates parked in front of my hotel. It looked enormous, mostly because every other car here is small-to-sensible.

    The other notable was a 40+ year old first generation Fiat Panda with faded paint, puttering along like a champ. This is the car Yugo famously licensed and built for the USA market in the late 1980s.

    Today's spots were a Mercedes G wagen with Ukrainian plates, a BYD Seal and a Toyota Aygo X in a stunning 2-tone paint job.

    What do you mean? Lyriq is still in production and Z4 still is for another year. (I assume it’ll go when the GR Supra goes).

    Saw an old survivor, 80's corolla station wagon. It wasn't restored and looked well used; w/o rust. Looks like the original mustard color; yellowish/orange paint of that era. Found this picture on google.

    I had no idea they were still making them. I used to see Z3s and Z4s all over the place and then it seemed like they all vanished.

    I know they're still popping out a few Lyriqs here and there, I managed to see two yesterday (different colors) along with a super clean Bentley sedan.

    Couple blocks away from home, not my usual route, this guy has what appears to be an '80s version Toyota pickup. Looked inside. Roll up windows. Ain't seen that in a while. Considering all the salt we use not much rust, but man - the rotors look like they need to be turned. Still - considering it's age, still pretty shiny 20260305_100602.jpg 20260305_100515.jpg

    Five days ago: a Honda with a neat bumper-cover repair:

    I'm thinking that's the way imma fix my bumper cover if it ever gets a tear like that. Though maybe I'd make a matching tear on the other side, keep it symmetrical....
