I made a brief video for anyone interested in doing a spare tire retrofit using OEM parts if their 4th gen didn't come with one. I included all the part numbers used and the differences that will present themselves using the OEM parts.
Wow, amazing video. Have you been able to test these foam cutouts with a full size spare tire? I’d greatly appreciate it if you could test it out and see if it would end up fitting.
You could do it yourself: remove one your wheels and try. I've done this with our gen 3 and it was fruitless: it got about 3/4 of the way into the well before started chafing on the sides of the well, never seated securely, and protruded up way too much.
