Maybe some of us want to keep the best shops a secret

 

Less than 40 shops in the US that work on hybrids? Lol

According to Google there's 230,000 auto repair shops in the US.

That map is beyond worthless.

 

When I bought my Prius in 2006, no mechanic was willing to touch it. Now 99% of the shops will do repairs especially, non hybrid like wheel bearings, water pumps etc.

Today, this is the same case with Tesla. No mechanic will go near them. I am not talking about HV batteries, they will not even replace control arms or plug and play MCUs and screens.

Anyway, I never found a trustworthy hybrid shop in Northern Virginia. If you know one let me know.

I do almost everything DIY. I do not trust even the Toyota dealer who burned me before.

I clicked on it, curious if Tampa Hybrids or Hybrid Pit Stop were included.

 

ditto here . . . I was hoping to find someone good.

 

And today it's dead.

 

Somebody like Mendel who is on here all the time should create a list, put it on google drive and share the link.

Once the link was created the file could be updated without a new link.

It's possible Wikipedia might allow a page with a public updatable list.

The problem with that option is salesmen on here and elsewhere looking for commissions would add extraneous and often misleading information.

Here is the Dr. Prius App Certified Shop Locator. These shops offer a variety of battery products, not just Sodium-ion batteries, and they all use clean busbars and check carefully for corrosion.
