Well some of us are good but not quite clairvoyant yet. 1. Audio system is the issue? 2. All sources failed? 3. Fuses checked? 4. System lights up and looks like it is working? 5. Any warnings? 6. Anything else fail in the car? 7. Any changes of any kind about the same time? Typical Prius v audio fusing - yours may be different
The only thing you need to check is the oil every now and then, like every second fillup. Seriously. The radio was probably the pushbutton on off volume switch.
No I tried that many times, never heard any noise when I touched the screen either for radio or phone. The screen worked but no sound.
Yes I turned the volume button up and down and pushed it on and off. Weird that it worked perfect in the morning. The night before on the way home from work I made two phone calls, they were connected and I could hear nothing. Nothing from the CD also but the screen showed the CD player was playing.
Sounds like a bluetooth pairing issue. Delete the pairing. Power down the car and phone. Then power back up and re-establish the pairing.
I am having this issue as well. Everything appears to function, except no sound from anything, no touchscreen sounds, music from any source. Yes I have tried the button for volume. The funny thing is rotating the volume knob. I don't see any indicator showing what volume level. And if I'm being quite honest, the whole system seems sluggish. I have suspicions that the mice that were previously housed in this vehicle have wreaked some havoc. I have seen evidence of mice being in this vehicle, however I can quite certainly agree that they are not there anymore. The previous owner may have dealt with that issue. I'm willing to bet if I pull the head unit out I will find a nest in there.
