I have a 2015 prius 3 with 217000 miles on it. This morning, immediately on startup it threw a P0327 code, knock sensor low voltage. car runs seemingly fine, good power, mpg normal. I figure, mouse ate a wire probably. got home from work, pulled the intake off, inspected the wiring, its perfectly fine, no corrosion at all, wires are perfect. i heard it is crazy rare for the sensor to fail, and i am not dropping $160 on a new one just to see. are the cheaper ones ok? Ive seen some for $35, but i know toyotas are picky on sensors. or any ideas why it would be acting up on me?
The 2011 Toyota Prius service manual for P0327 code is available from website Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone. I also made a PDF for it which is attached below. I hope this helps.
