Padding under carpets getting wet

    Hello again! My 2007 Prius seems to be having a lot of water issues lately. Both rear passenger areas and drivers side have very wet padding underneath the carpet. The only dry spot is the front passenger side. I pulled out the rear pads but can’t really get the driver pads. The rear pad was pretty soaked and one had mold. I’m really not sure what could be causing leaks on 3 different sides. Any help would be really appreciate!! I want to keep my Prius dry ASAP!!

    common leak areas are the rear hatch hinges or gasket, and under the roof gutter garnish. but I'm not sure if any of these would get into the passenger area. have you noticed anything after heavy rain?
    I think the a/c drain can leak into the front passenger floor if it is clogged.
    have you checked the spare tire well and 12 volt battery?

    Are you certain you or someone else didn't spill water or similar fluid in the car in the past couple years?

    I’ve previously sealed the roof and hatch seams which seemed to leak. I pull back the carpet and replaced the jute padding. It’s supposed to rain soon so I’ll check after that. Maybe someone left a window open or something before I got the car I can’t be sure. Thank you for the responses!
