So I'm looking for rear strut/shock assemblies and I can't for the life of me find Rear Left Gabriel Ultra Readymounts only Rear Rights. Can anyone point me into the right direction? Are the rear struts on the Prius the same or are they Left/Right specific? TIA!
What you should do is just buy the OEM rear strut from an online dealership like parts.worldtoyota.com As of this posting, you have about 6 hours remaining for their Memorial Day sale, where you get an additional 15% off their already low prices. These struts will need to be mounted onto your springs, but this will ride much better than any Gabriel assembly. And the price is about $60 for each side.
If you fit the load carrying rear springs, while you have it apart, you will have it set up ready for an extended range battery pack in arguably, the best model Prius Toyota made. T1 Terry
These are Australian made King springs KTRR-106SP. Apparently there is an upgrade of fitting Pontiac Vibe 2003 - 2008 rear struts and spring, but I've never tried it because there are no Pontiac Vibe imported to Australia T1 Terry
