I drive in pretty much optimal conditions, so i get a very high EV range. I bought a 1 year old 2023 Prius Prime XSE Premium with 10k miles and the previous owner had an estimated EV range at full charge of 37mi when I got it. I average about 55 miles EV range, and since putting about 7k miles on the car the EV estimate now shows 47miles (when I get like 55mi). I was hoping his history would eventually roll off after maybe 10,000 miles, but I can clearly see it’s not rolling off and it’s still in the calculation. is there any way to erase or start the EV range estimate from scratch again? (I’ve already had to replace the 12 V battery twice and that didn’t reset it).
For comparison, I also have a 2021 RAV4 prime XSE that I bought new. I average about 58 miles of EV range and the dash after full charge shows 58 miles of EV range, and has even shown as high as 60 miles of estimated EV range at times.
