If I remember correctly that's not entirely true. When the inverter overheats enough doesn't the car disable the AC compressor? Not sure that anyone would ever notice though, as the RTOD shows up at roughly the same time, and that tends to focus a driver's attention elsewhere.

Also, if you have a gmail account then you do have a youtube login. It is just the same as all the other Google logins. Note that by default it will show your actual name followed by 4 numbers in any youtube comments. That's a really bad default setting. One must go to

    https://studio.youtube.com/

and into "customization" to change that. Hit the "Publish" button at the upper right to make the change stick. (Hey Google, what's wrong with "save" like 99.9% of all other web sites?)

Seems to me I considered posting something on youtube once, some time ago, and having a Google login did make for a bit of a head start, but there was still a step where I had to accept some youtube terms and conditions, and I may or may not have finished reading all the pages when I said "nope".

    Yes.
    No.
    Yes.

    Paralysis by analysis, much?

I had my 2004 coolant control valve get stuck on me and I bought one off of eBAY for like $50 for cooland valve and water pump for the hybrid cooling system. I changed the three way valve and in 2 months the same code came up and I had no heat either. Looked at one guys video where he disected the three way valve and even pulled out the center section which controls the flow....he says that the cheap valves get stuck because theure...CHEAP LOL! He says the OEM Toy valve is built with better seals and don't seize up. Bought a OEM Toy Valve and its going on 4 months now..LOL1 Okay..wifes 09 Prius has that code which denotes that the water pump is not working to cool the hybrid coolant...especially as its now HOT in Southern Utah now. I buy another water cooland valve of of eBAT labled as DENSO in a professionally made box. I got that valve but I'm wondering could it be FAKE ? It has DENSO stamped in teeny letters..looks suspicious to me. I got on the Denso parts website..they don't even carry Prius hybrid 3 way valves nor hybrid pumps.....Oh well...the coolant pump is a lot easier than the three way valve,,,especially since I had to change it twice!
