Prius Owners: Is Anyone Experiencing Warped or Bubbling Exterior Plastic?

    2025 Toyota Prius. Black exterior plastic trim is bubbling, warping and deforming. Toyota claims it is caused by environmental conditions and refuses warranty coverage.

    Has anyone else experienced similar damage on a 2025–2026 Prius or Prius Prime?

    If yes, please share photos, mileage, state, and Toyota’s response.
    I’m from California.

    That looks exactly like damage from reflected sunlight
    Comprehensive insurance coverage, be careful where you park
