    Isn't that a fluid filled engine mount? designed to isolate engine vibrations from the vehicle body ....

    Engine mount. They can leak. No danger of it falling off or anything, but it can leave a mess and maybe you aren't getting as much vibration isolation as usual.

    Don't forget to grab your flashlight before you close the hood.
