Head gasket blown. Pink/orange tapioca. Have a few questions as to cleanup before proceeding.

    Yes, you made it very confusing.
    Now it's too much to read. :confused:

    Hope that whatever it is doesn't happen again and that you don't have a bad head gasket.
    You should change it BEFORE it fails, when you can decide the time and place.

    Final update (unless the same issue comes back at a later date): Ran all the coolant out until it was just a drip, checked for the goop in the catch container (there was none) and then ran water through it 3-4 times just to make sure it was fully flushed. Refilled, changed out the egr cooler and cleaned intake manifold.

    Now a few more issues not pertaining directly to the coolant but that will be on another post as this one is a bit confusing for some.

    Nah. This thread is done and the coolant problem has nothing to do with any of the other issues.

    Final Final update. Got her into maintenance mode and ran it through its paces. There was still some residual pink goop that ended up back in the reservoir after. So i clamped the lines, cleaned the reservoir in the ultrasonic and reinstalled. Repeat the process and now it is the correct shade of pink. Crisis averted or just postponed? Time will tell.
