The auto body said they would take car of the drip guard which detached near the end..looks like they just put contact cement. It did not hold. I cleaned out the clump. Is this missing a clip on the guard or do I need to try and get another guard if possible? I see an arrow on the guard indicating it might slip forward, but, I did not see any way for it to slid into the clip in the channel. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Take it back to the auto body shop; they have better adhesives such as windshield glass sealant. You just have to let it dry for awhile instead of the instant gratification of contact cement.

Sadly been back twice....looks like they just chew a gummy bear and stick it in the channel.
