Insane tire wear at 30k miles. ‘23 Prime SE

    FWIW: You can do an alignment with well worn tires, but it's going to be OFF. The ingrained wear patterns will only get you about 1/3 to 1/2 way to a correct alignment. Whenever you buy new tires, the alignment needs to be done right away or at least checked. That's the only time the tires are actually true, so you can get a near perfect alignment done.

    Although periodic checks and checking for cause are very wise.

    I did alignment with new tires. But fixed rear camber worries me. And I have an unpleasant thought that if I go to any other shop, numbers will look very different. So it’s a question of how many times do you want to set $200 on fire. Or wait for the $600 tire set to turn into a dangerous mess. Either way it’s not something that can be guaranteed or even verified reliably, only by driving 5-10K and looking at what’s happening to the tires.
