I have looked and looked for a complete traction battery from Toyota parts online... hoping to pick one up before the 20% off expires in a week. I can't for the life of me find it there.... just associated wires and whatnot.

    Any thoughts? TIA

Thanks for the info. Those part numbers bring up zero results on toyota parts, I'm afraid

If I pose the following question:

what is the gen 2 prius hybrid battery latest part no

the google AI response comes up with slightly different part number:

    G9510-47033

link to the Google AI response:

    https://share.google/aimode/flfXJgBRpPu2SqyXZ

Searching for that number at the official Toyota USA parts site:

Genuine Toyota Parts and Accessories: Official Online Store | Autoparts.toyota.com

I too get no results. But just doing a general web search with the number, there’s lots of results, including Toyota dealerships.

Toyota USA parts site underwent an “update” a few years back, and the general impression most have is it more or less hamstrung the site. Not sure why, but there’s likely a reason, maybe concerns from dealerships about “empowered” owners?

People love their Gen2 Prius so much Toyota sees it as a problem and have been trying to give the impression that parts aren't available or if you bring it to a Stealership they'll try to find $15K in unneeded repairs to get you to give up your car. Fortunately, battery science has massively advanced in the decades since Prius was first developed and now for less than the price of OEM you can buy Sodium-Ion packs from hybrid geek, greenbean or salty hybrid and it will outperform OEM in every way. You won't regret it.
