What LED's have been used with good results in these cars, giving a good beam pattern and brightness? The cheap ones from eBay don't fit. Has anyone had success doing this upgrade? Share what product you've used.

I have used a variety of LASFIT LED formats in both reflector and projector housings with good effect, minimal off-axis spread.

For LEDs I first got the GTR ULTRA 2 low beams. I needed them because my 50% windshield tint made it too dark at night with the halogens. I did the 65W halogens before that(Not bright enough and caused glare to oncoming drivers) and then the Ultra 2. The ULTRA 2 are amazing with a clean cutoff and I never had anyone flashing me. If you don't have windshield tint, these are perfect. They can be gotten for a bit cheaper now that the 3s are out. Then when they came out with the GTR ULTRA 3s I switched to those. The 3s are even brighter but the color is different and I don't like it as much, but I finally can see how I want through my tints. Don't go cheap! There are several reputable brands out there. From what I can tell most of the good ones cost greater than $200 per set. The companies have been around for many years and they stand behind their products. I have also heard good things about Morimoto. Good luck
