I've been running this headunit for about a year now - in short, it's a very good (but expensive) headunit with OEM like functionality & interface. You can find refurb headunits for around $700 online, add in another $200-300 or so for the maestro, wiring, trim etc. Runs carplay almost flawlessly, it's only frozen on me maybe twice in the year. A simple restart fixed issues. I got the larger 10.1" screen, it covers a little of the temp & fan control, but I use the steering wheel for temp & just reach under the headunit for fan speed. Maestro can read tire pressures/temp, coolant etc. No issues with steering wheel control, and you can program new functions (holding volume down for system mute, hold volume up for tire pressures, etc.) Unit is quick & responsive due to the newer quad core processor. Waze & Highway Radar apps + Valentine 1 Gen 2 are invaluable for distance highway driving. Highly recommend if you can spend the money!
Did you have to do anything to get the TPMS to work? Mine wanted to go to each corner and deflate the tire then re-inflate it but I tried and didn't even get the first one to show up so I gave up.
