Hello everyone, My Social Problems professor was involved in a minor traffic accident and her passenger side taillight is in shambles and needs to be replaced. I volunteered to fix it for her. I took out all of the light connections but I couldn't push it out. Is there a wingnut or a bolt that I am missing??? The Owner's manual has a section called "Do It Yourself Maintenance" that discusses bulb replacement. That starts on page 304 of the '05 manual, and on page 418 of the '06 manual and '07 manual. I don't see anything special. It looks like it's showing a ccw twist of the lights (and I'm guessing that's for removal, but don't know). If she has the Owner's manual, take a look at it before forcing anything. But I assume you know that. Dave M.
Thank you very much. I bookmarked the writeup, so Thursday I'll be testing it out. Seems simple enough. Camaro taillights though are the easiest. Pull back cloth, 3 plastic wingnuts and you're done

I tried removing the driver's side taillight and removed all the bulbs, only to find out my teacher ordered the wrong side taillight . Oh well, I guess Toyota will be doing it. They'll probably charge quite a bit for that kind of install, even though in all it looks fairly easy.
