Well, if I put myself into the shoes of a car thief... if the car (or cars in general) is too hard to steal, I either find some other way to entertain myself, or I just carjack the owner. Or break into their house and find the key (somebody got my aunt's Mercedes that way). The unstealable car, if such a thing exists, is easy to steal if you have the key. If it takes an owner-PIN or a thumb print or something, that just means that you have to take a hostage too.
